  • July 8 to 12, 2019: I Love Science
This week we are mad scientists! We will be exploring many different science topics with lots of hands on experiments and fun. We will be making our own volcanoes, learning about clouds with a super fun rain cloud experiment along with many others. We will have our very own science lab in the classroom and explore the fun in color mixing, liquid mixing, bubbles, buoyancy, and much more!

Along with our indoor classroom fun we will be outside within our community on daily adventures depending on the weather and timing of the classroom activities. If you child is wild about Science this is the class for them!

  • July 15 to 19, 2019: Le Petit Gourmet (*See note below)
In this summer camp we will have various days of cooking and classroom cooking play stations! We will make pizza, bake cookies, and follow other fun recipes during the week! Our cooking play experiences will involve measuring, stirring, and weighing. The classroom will transform into a pizza parlour, farmers market, and restaurant where children will use their imaginations to take orders, prepare food, buy groceries and pay!

Along with indoor classroom experiences, we will take these experiences outside and weather depending we will be away from the school on various day trips!

  • August 12 to 16, 2019: Camp Rangers
In this summer camp we will be setting up various play experiences for the children that involve camping, picnics, and our all-time favourite “Goin on a Bear Hunt” day! We will make our own binoculars, set up a classroom tent, roast hot dogs, read stories and sing songs around the classroom “camp fire”. Snacks will be a fun take on camping snacks such as make our own trail mix, hot dogs, s’mores, and other fun and healthy camping treats!

  • August 19 to 23, 2019: Little Artists
This is a week of a teeny bit of art history (the age appropriate study of Jackson Pollock) and messy art fun! We will be splatter painting outside, clay moulding, ice painting, swimming pool ball painting, magic wand creations and so much more! These art activities will take us outdoors as well along with various day trips throughout the week depending on the weather! This camp will inspire creativity and confidence as little artists!
